Valentine's dance and silent auction

It's back!!!!!!

Our annual fundraiser will be on Saturday February 18th 2023 at:

Optimist Club of Newmarket:
55 Forhan Avenue,  Newmarket

As in past years we need all families to pitch in to make this another successful event. All families are asked to donate the following

-  Time by volunteering before, during or after the event even if you are not able to attend the dance, since all the players benefit from the money raised.

-  1 bag of chips/snacks

-  A food item from the choices provided on the signup form

-  Reach out to family, friends and community connections for donations for raffle prizes.

As we are still beginning to get back to regular events we will not be having a players dance. The players will benefit from the fundraiser at the Kitchener Friendship Tournament the following weekend.

If your player wishes to attend the fundraiser they must be over 19, accompanied by a chaperone all night, help out throughout the night & be an ambassador for the team . Please keep in mind the purpose of the valentines dance is to raise funds for the team to cover costs of ice, jerseys, tournaments, referees and gifts.

We will be selling dance tickets at the same price of $15 each and also have donation tickets for $10 for those  unable to attend or family or friends who would like to make a donation. All donation tickets are placed in a draw for prizes to be drawn after the dance

You should have received an email by now outlining this event.  That email also contains links to Google forms for you to complete for volunteering and to purchase dance and donation tickets. If you need an odd number of tickets that is not on the form then let Clare know at nighthawkmom29@yahoo.ca

Tickets will be available for pick up on December 10th and 17th, Jan 21st and Feb 11th from 12-2 at the entrance to the change room area

All payment for tickets will be due by Feb 11th or on pick up days

Please direct any questions to Clare MacDonald

Looking forward to another successful night
